Early last week, we were part of the most beautiful birthday party for Emmy, daughter of Kylie from Love Little Big. Together with our favourite party team, we transformed Apples & Jam, South Melbourne into a sweet strawberry party. Featuring stunning photography from My Little Tribe, here’s a look at how the delicious day came together.
To set the scene a large printed backdrop was placed behind the dessert table and draped dainty ribbon tassels in front of a pretty purple tablecloth.
Strawberry-themed tent cards sat next to party food items and our personalised bunting flags were tied to branches in the corner of the room to create a charming garden feel (and add that extra touch of cuteness). Both brought the whole look together beautifully.
Emmy’s party table was a pastel dream, covered in dusty pinks, soft purples and baby blues. Baby Bentwood replica chairs were the perfect fit for this sweet celebration, and gave the little partygoers a pretty seat at the table. A simple pink tablecloth was covered with hessian fabric and made the perfect starting point for the delightful table decorations.
A few paper doilies, jars of fresh flowers and red honeycomb balls to made the table shine. Individual lunch boxes were filled to the brim with delightful treats and our personalised drink bottles were on hand for thirsty little tots.
An array of delicious goodies from Burnt Butter made Emmy’s celebration even sweeter. From meringue rosettes and mini chocolate eclairs to strawberry macarons and mini custard tarts; the party food looked too pretty to eat!
The naked vanilla sponge topped with flowers and pink sugar dust was an absolute delight and certainly made our little partygoers smile.
